Update: My bank draft was cashed by the State Department, and they also replied to my email saying return stamps are not a big deal for them, and they won't return my application. If your authenticated document needs to be sent directly to a foreign embassy or consulate, you must provide the name, address and mailing instructions for the embassy or consulate. If those postages are invalid, is there a chance for my application to get denied? Also, what should be my next steps? Should I contact the waiver division and ask to see if I can send another money order for them to get USPS postage? Or should I wait for them to contact me? I don't think unless crossing the border I can get USPS stamps, and I don't have a valid visa to visit the US now. However, I am right now finding conflicting information about the validity of Canada Post stamp in the USA. When I went to the Canada post (equivalent to USPS) and showed them the sample envelope ( ) listed on the instruction web page, they put a Canada post US letter mail stamp on my self-addressed legal envelope, and I paid the postage. I am currently in Canada finishing my school. I was subjected to 2 year home residency requirement based on my skill list, and recently sent an application package for waiver based on no objection statement. I am a Bangladeshi citizen who did an internship at a big tech with no government funding.
